Open Letter To A&Z's Clients

Dear clients, partners and friends,

2020 Spring Festival, strike the bell and leap into the Year of the Rat. This year, we are all marked by a very special experience. Due to the Corona Virus pneumonia epidemic in some areas of China, the government at all levels has taken certain prevention and control measures, which have negative impacts on everyone’s work and life.

During these special and troubled times, A&Z wishes to call for and make a public statement. Main points are as follows:

1. We call for everyone to pay attention to your health and protection as well as your families. We advise taking all necessary prevention measures in accordance with the government’s recommendations, particularly sanitary and health departments and institutions.  Good health is an indispensable vital condition for meaningful and happy work and life.

2. We understand some prevention and control measures taken by Chinese government departments. Yet, we have also noticed that these measures have affected the normal production and operation activities of clients and the daily life of employees and families. A&Z professionals remain at your full disposition to support you –your company–, should you require clarification on government policies, employees’ work arrangement, labor and compliance matters (e.g. holiday, salary measures, etc.), unfulfilled contract conditions (e.g. shipments, receivables, etc.), internal guidance and protocol, please contact us. We will assist you immediately.

3. Regardless of the situation, we can ensure you that all A&Z employees will respond to any questions that you may send via phone calls, e-mail, meetings, etc. A&Z will publish updates and available information, including recommendations, from various sources through our website, Wechat account, e-mail and any other convenient and fast communication channels.

 Following the latest decision of the State Council and Shanghai municipal government, A&Z's holiday arrangements are adjusted as follows:

• The Spring Festival holiday is extended to February 2 (Sunday, the ninth day of the first lunar month).

• From February 3 (Monday) to February 7 (Friday), all A&Z employees will start to work at home and will ensure to respond to your inquiries by email and telephone.

• February 8 (Saturday) and February 9 (Sunday), normal rest weekend.

• If the Chinese government publishes any updates and requirements in the future, we will make the notice separately.
