Opening of the Permanent Residence Service Center for Foreigners

The Permanent Residence Service Center for Foreigners is officially opened today, September 16, in Shanghai. The new Center has been created with the aim to improve the facilities and application services for foreigners applying for a permanent residence permit.

The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

• The opening of the Foreigner Permanent Resident Service Center means that the Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration Bureau’s Application Center on 1500 Minsheng Road is closed. It will no longer process the permanent residence affairs for foreigners from September 16.
• The new Center is located in the following address:

             Building 8-9, Lane 36, Xuelin Road, Pudong New Area, near Huanke Road.

             It can be reached by taking Line 13 to Xuelin Road Station.

• Foreigners’ permanent residence application acceptance, permit issuance, and consulting services are all processed at the new Permanent Residence Service Center.
• At the same time, any Public Security Bureau Entry-Exit Reception Hall in this city can process the permanent residence affairs for foreigners. Citizens can find the Public Security Bureau Entry-Exit Reception Hall nearby via the website, WeChat or Phone contact to process the permanent residence affairs for foreigners.
