[News] IURISGAL Annual Meeting in Miami
Ms. Anna Lukina, Director of Business Development at A&Z Law Firm, had the pleasure of attending the annual meeting of the international law firm network IURISGAL. The gathering of representatives of law firms from all over the world, took place from September 18 to 20 in Miami, United States.
IURISGAL is the first global network of independent law firms, whose official languages include Spanish and Portuguese. Actively present on 5 continents, IURISGAL has 59 member law firms, with more than 1,000 lawyers. Through this extensive network, A&Z can offer our clients the assurance of receiving quality services globally, whenever they may need them.
This year, the event was organized by Arias Tovar & Associates, P.A. in partnership with Mr. Blas Rivas Alejandro, head of the IURISGAL Association, and Ms. Ileana Arias, as well as Mr. José Gregorio Tovar.
Representatives from 33 law firms gathered from countries such as the United States, Brazil, United Kingdom, Italy, Morocco, Canada, India, Mexico, Portugal, Switzerland, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Costa Rica, and more.
During the annual meeting, several activities were carried out, including a visit to America’s Food and Beverage Show and Conference, held at the Miami Beach Convention center, regrouping over 600 exhibitors. At this event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Federation of Central and Eastern European Chambers of Commerce, in order to strengthen the cooperation and reach of IURISGAL.
In addition, IURISGAL members met Mr. Jose Chi, the President of the Board of CAMACOL (The Latin Chamber of Commerce of the United States). Founded in 1965, CAMACOL is the largest Hispanic business organization in the State of Florida and one of the most influential minority business groups in the United States.
The IURISGAL meeting in Miami aimed to share professional experiences and expand the international network of Spanish and Portuguese speaking law firms.
