It will analyze legal risks regarding to IPRs and practical protection options by showing case studies, and providing legal suggestions for future challenges in these field.

(6) The importance of employer’s rules and regulations, development of skills, and implementation of key points

Main Content

Labor and personnel rules and regulations are greatly important, in particular for the internal management of employees, and in general for labor relationships. However, they can only become the company’s “internal law” once they are legal and effective. (8) Employee on sick leave: dealing with “law” and “trick”, “reason” and “emotion”

According to Chinese labor law, employees on sick leave during the medical treatment period are specially protected. In recent years, however, some employees behaving without integrity have abused of taking false sick leave, become unwell with a minor illness, unable to travel and requesting a sick leave, among other abuses. This situation has been sharply increased. At the same time, as part of the labor relationships, employees have to deal with company’s sick leave system.
