2016 CSR Forum, A&Z Included In The 10th Anniversary White Paper Published By The European Union Chamber Of Commerce
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China established its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Forum in 2005 to facilitate the sharing of developments in CSR practices among members.
It now comprises more than 250 Chamber member companies covering a wide range of different business units such as corporate governance and compliance, the environment and health and safety (EHS), and human resources.
In November 2015, a full-day conference was held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Corporate Social Responsibility Forum in Shanghai. A&Z acknowledges that businesses, regardless of industry, have a duty to act responsibly in the interest of making a positive impact on local communities and beyond. For this reason, A&Z sponsored the 10th Anniversary of the CSR Forum in Shanghai.
A&Z adopts a comprehensive CSR strategy which takes into account both awareness and engagement. A&Z’s CSR strategy addresses workplace harmony and environmental sustainability as well as the needs of communities.
The European Chamber held the Annual CSR Conference under the theme Innovation; Trust and Sustainability. In addition, the European Chamber compiled a white paper to trace and record China’s CSR development over the past 10 years, where in the second part of the document can be seen to include A&Z’s CSR initiatives.
