A&Z Held a Webinar about Investing in Israel
On August 26, 2021, to respond to the Belt and Road Initiative and help Chinese companies going global, A&Z Law Firm held the webinar “Investing and Doing Business in Israel - Opportunities and Challenges”.
It was our pleasure to invite Mr. Eyal Oren, partner at Harpaz, Oren, Adler & Co as the keynote speaker. Ms. Sophie An, principal partner at A&Z Law Firm made the opening speech and Ms. Anna Lukina, BD and Marketing Director at A&Z Law Firm hosted this webinar.
We were delighted to see that the topic sparked a lot of interest among attendees, who included guests from the Israel Chamber Of Commerce in China, the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum and Shanghai Lin-gang Group.
Mr. Eyal Oren introduced Israel’s booming technology ecosystem to the guests by sharing some of the latest data. He explained the reasons why such a strong innovation ecosystem has been developed in Israel, and showed our guests the current business climate in Israel. Effectively, the rapid economic development in Israel facilitates a good investment environment.
In the Q&A session, guests asked questions enthusiastically on various topics, including regarding technology of social support for the aging population, Israel’s science and technology incubator projects and more. Mr. Eyal Oren gave detailed responses and explanations: in particular, he gave details about the strong support of the Israeli government for the R&D projects promoting scientific and technological innovation.
Through this webinar, the attendees had the chance to better understand the reasons for the rise and development prospects of Israel as a country, and as a strong power of technology and business.
We hope that this event established and deepened the exchange of investment cooperation between Chinese and Israeli enterprises.
