Ms. Mireia Paulo, Senior Consultant at A&Z Law Firm, was honoured to participate in the "iusTime International Forum of Experts" on November 19th, 2020. Conducted in Spanish, this webinar reunited expert lawyers, economists and business professionals, who shared their insights into the new ways of working and doing business during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This new reality has brought numerous challenges to companies worldwide: from the accelerated digitalisation of the workspace, to labour issues and more. The international forum aimed to broach these issues with the help of seasoned professionals, assessing the challenges and the opportunities that the companies are currently facing.

Ms. Paulo shared her analysis of the situation in the Chinese jurisdiction, and provided advice for companies doing business internationally in these challenging times. She discussed how Covid-19 has changed the business model for numerous companies, as well as affected the supply chain. She gave some examples on the challenges and the opportunities that digitalisation offered to companies during the pandemic, and examined the future prospects for companies operating in China.
