Anti-monopoly Law of the People's Republic of China
This is the first amendment to the Anti-monopoly Law since its implementation in 2008. The revised Anti-monopoly Law establishes a “safe harbor” system for monopoly agreements, optimizes the review system for the declarations of concentration of undertakings and improves the fair competition review system, as well as further increases the penalties for violations. After the implementation of the new law, enterprises will face higher costs for violating the law.
Interim Measures for the Management of High-quality Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Gradient Cultivation
These Measures stipulate that the authorities of small and medium-sized enterprises should play a role in promoting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises’ work coordination mechanism, strengthen interdepartmental coordination, upstream and downstream linkage, to form a working synergy, coordinate the use of finance and taxation, finance, technology, industry, human resources, land, energy and other policy tools to constantly support the development of high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of policies.
Administrative Provisions on the Account Information of Internet User
These Provisions stipulate that, if an internet user applies for registration of an account to provide internet news and information services, online publishing services and other internet information services (which must obtain an administrative license required by law), or applies for registration of an account engaging in the content production of the information regarding the economy, education, health care, justice areas, among others, then the internet information service providers should require it to provide service qualifications, professional qualifications, professional background and other related materials, and carry out verification and add a special logo in the account information.
Provisions on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in Handling Habeas Corpus Cases
These Provisions stipulate that, if the litigant applies to the people's court for a personal safety protection order in accordance with Anti-domestic Violence Law because they have been subjected to domestic violence or are in real danger of domestic violence, the People's Court shall accept the application. The application for personal safety protection order to the People's Court is not conditioned on the filing of civil lawsuits, such as divorce.
Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Interests
These Regulations stipulate that when an operator promotes goods or services through the internet media in the form of internet advertisements, such as bidding rankings, it shall prominently mark “advertisement” in accordance with the law. The Regulations also stipulate that where an operator uses the consumers’ personal information to make automated decisions, the transparency of decision-making and the fairness and impartiality of results should be guaranteed. The operators shall not apply unreasonable differential treatment to consumers in terms of transaction prices and other trading conditions.
Safety Production Regulations in Beijing Municipality
These Regulations stipulate that they encourage the implementation of specialized storage, unified distribution and centralized sales of hazardous chemicals, and promote the construction of a centralized management system for hazardous chemicals. They also request to strengthen the safe management of the use of hazardous chemicals in education, health, sports, science and technology and other industries, to encourage the production and operation units to carry out hazardous chemical trading activities through the municipal hazardous chemical information platform, and realize the traceability of hazardous chemicals throughout the process.
