[Online Event] Technological Entrepreneurship in China

Technology and innovation have often been seen as the backbone of China's unprecedented economic growth. In particular, the wide area that covers the Yangtze Delta has key industrial hubs from the point of view of innovation in China, such as Shanghai, Nanjing, or Hangzhou. Therefore, to understand the growth of China, it is important to understand how the entrepreneurial ecosystem linked to technology works in this country, as well as the possible opportunities and challenges that may arise for potential Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs.

This event will bring Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs and researchers closer to the reality of developing a technological project in China. There will be speakers from Spanish-speaking institutions in China, entrepreneurs, investors, and experts in the field. The event will be bilingual with some events in Spanish and some events in English, and the topics will include technology transfer, institutional and private support, fundamental challenges and opportunities in the Chinese market, among others.

A&Z Law firm is delighted to support and join, as Ms. Elena Gomez will be delivering a lecture in Spanish on the topic of “How to enter China market and basics about IP protection and international contracts” (“Como entrar en el mercado chino y aspectos básicos sobre la protección de la propiedad intelectual y los contratos internacionales”), on May 31st, 10:00 PM CST.

This event is organized by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Xiji Incubator in Shanghai, Tecnológico de Monterrey and the Sino-Spanish Campus based at Tongji University, where both universities take part. It also has the support of the Spanish Embassy in China, the General Consulate of Mexico in Shanghai, the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Shanghai, and the Spain´s National Innovation Agency (Ministry of Science and Innovation, Spain), among others.
